Offit Kurman Welcomes Joseph M. English to Lead Its New Atlanta, Georgia Office
Am Law 200 firm Offit Kurman is excited to announce the addition of Joseph M. English as a principal and founder of the firm’s newly formed Atlanta, Georgia office. After nearly 20 years as a named partner and co-founder of Taylor English Duma, Joe English has joined Offit Kurman to lead the firm’s new Atlanta office and expand its footprint in the Southeast. In addition to his leadership experience, Joe brings over 35 years of experience practicing in employment law, providing day-to-day advice on general employment-related matters, including risk management and preventative practices. Joe also led an outside counsel practice, offering customized general counsel services to growing businesses.
“Joe’s passion for supporting early-stage and high-growth companies, along with his commitment to helping entrepreneurs scale their businesses while developing best practices and legal safeguards, aligns perfectly with our practices,” said Offit Kurman President Tim Lynch. “I’ve known Joe for decades through GGI and other organizations, and his addition not only strengthens our employment law and outside counsel services but also brings the leadership experience to expand our presence in the Atlanta market and better serve our clients.”
“Co-founding Taylor English Duma and serving in leadership has been a deeply rewarding part of my career,” said Joe English. “I’m grateful for the journey and excited to join Offit Kurman, whose practices and commitment to excellence and client service mirrors my own. This move allows me to offer clients expanded legal resources to support their success at every stage.”
Complementing his legal work, Joe is dedicated to giving back to his profession and the community in which he lives and works. He has served on several nonprofit boards, including the Georgia River Network, Golf for the Kids benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and several others.
Demonstrating the high regard in which he is held within Atlanta’s business community, Joe was named a 2025 Titan 100 honoree. The Titan 100 program recognizes Georgia’s top 100 CEOs and C-level executives—leaders who have demonstrated exceptional vision, leadership, and passion, and who are among the most accomplished in their industries.
