Susie Cirilli to Speak at Virtual Event Featuring Former U.S. Women’s National Team Members

Philadelphia, PA | March 22, 2021

Offit Kurman Philadelphia-based attorney, Susie M. Cirilli, will speak at the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Law & Public Affairs’ “The Sky is the Limit...Unless there’s a Ceiling in the Way” virtual event. The program will be held on Wednesday, March 24th, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT. Ms. Cirilli’s presentation, “Third Shift? Family Responsibilities, Work, and COVID,” will take place 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Susie Cirilli is a Labor & Employment attorney who assists clients with issues involving the ADA, FMLA, and Title VII claims. She litigates on matters related to hostile work environment, discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy, race and disability. Susie has experience representing employers in fact-finding conferences and mediations before the PHRC and the EEOC. Her practice also consists of counseling and advising clients on employment matters.

Ms. Cirilli often advises employers on day-to-day employment matters and counsels clients on employee issues such as hiring and terminations, including drafting and negotiating separation agreements. She has experience drafting and revising employment agreements, employee handbooks, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements. Ms. Cirilli is admitted in the Middle District and Eastern District of Pennsylvania and to the Federal Court for the District of New Jersey.

Additional topics to be presented at the virtual event include LGBT employment discrimination, barrier to employment for individuals with record and the right for pay equity in women’s athletics. Other event speakers include Julie Foudy, U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team player, author and ESPN television analyst and reporter, and Meghan Duggan, U.S. Women’s National Ice Hockey Team player and member of both the NHL’s Player Inclusion Committee and the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association. Moderators include Danielle Slaton, U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team player, Santa Clara University director of external affairs, and soccer television analyst for NBC and Fox Sports.
