For more than four decades, Linda Sorg Ostovitz has helped individuals and families navigate divorce and other family law matters with clarity, steadiness, and practical counsel. She represents clients in high-conflict and emotionally complex cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and the division of significant assets, guiding them toward solutions that protect both their legal and personal interests.
Linda approaches family law with a balance of strategic advocacy and problem-solving. She handles matters through litigation, mediation, arbitration, and collaborative processes, enabling her to tailor her approach to each client and case. Her work frequently involves business valuation, property distribution, and financially complex divorces, and she is known for helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions at critical moments.
In addition to her client work, Linda has played a leadership role within the family law community. She previously served as President of the Maryland Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, where she focused on professional development and advancing best practices in family law. Within the firm, she has served as Legal Operations Chair and as a member of the Management Committee, contributing to initiatives designed to improve practice management and client service.
Linda is also deeply engaged in the business and civic communities in Howard County and throughout Maryland. She currently serves as President of the Rotary Club of Columbia Patuxent and has held leadership roles with the Howard County Chamber of Commerce and the Business Women’s Network of Howard County.
