Meet Leonardo McClarty, President and CEO of the Howard County Chamber. Leonardo shared that the chamber focuses their business on the 3 Ps - people, policy and prosperity. People: helping people connect and always refering their members. Policy: advocate and work with elected officials, locally and statewide, on behalf of their members. Prosperity: working closely with members and businesses in the community to promote economic development, tourism, and more to continue to make Howard County a place that people want to do business.

Leonardo McClarty is most proud of the Howard County Chamber team and their resilience to overcome the hurdles that the pandemic brought on to serve their members. He is proud of their creativity that emerged, like their coffee tailgates, that allowed networking in the fresh air during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Howard County Chamber looks forward to bringing the in-person aspect of their business back into their schedule. They look forward to a busy fall to use what they learned in the pandemic for a brighter future for their members.
