Portrait of Alison Noll

Alison K. Noll

Principal

Alison K. Noll has over 30 years of experience representing individuals, families, and business owners in creating estate plans specifically tailored to her client’s individual needs. Alison also focuses her practice on wealth preservation, trust and estate administration, real estate matters, and premarital and postmarital agreements.

Alison is able to explain complex topics in a way clients find easy to understand.  Her goal is to implement a comprehensive estate plan for her clients without unnecessary complexities. In addition, she regularly counsels executors, trustees and beneficiaries with navigating the maze of probate, trust administration, and estate taxes.

In addition to formulating estate plans for her clients, Alison frequently represents beneficiaries, executors and trustees in disputes involving estates and trusts.  Such disputes may include a breach of fiduciary duties by a trustee in administering a trust, contesting the validity of a will, bringing or defending elective shares claims of a surviving spouse, and enforcement of obligations due to a surviving spouse under premarital and postmarital agreements. Alison works closely with members of Offit Kurman’s fiduciary litigation team in both defending and prosecuting such claims.

Alison also has represented victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and families of the victims of the Washington Navy Yard shootings through pro bono work.  Her pro bono work also includes representation of persons who have been wrongfully convicted.

Prior to joining Offit Kurman as an estate planning attorney, Ms. Noll was the managing partner of the Estate Planning Practice Group at the law firm of Peterson Noll & Goodman, PLC where she spent the first 19 years of her law career.
