Women in Law: Reflections on Progress, Mentorship, and Resilience

Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is proud to launch “O|K Voices – The Stories That Shape Us,” a series dedicated to celebrating the personal experiences of our employees. Each post will highlight employee stories or cultural events, offering a platform for colleagues to share their traditions, histories, and the moments that have shaped them. Through these shared voices, we foster deeper connections, understanding, and appreciation of the diverse perspectives that make up the Offit Kurman community.

In this edition of O|K Voices - The Stories that Shape Us, we honor the end of Women’s History Month by highlighting the voices of women in our firm and the wider legal profession. We sat down with attorneys Candace Dellacona, Jennifer Jean-Gilles, Gwen Roy-Harrison, and Sidney Washington to learn about their experiences, discuss the progress of gender diversity in law, and reflect on the mentors who have influenced their careers. Join us in celebrating the achievements, resilience, and impact of women in law.
