Over 90 Offit Kurman Attorneys Recognized in Best Lawyers in America and Ones to Watch Lists
Offit Kurman is pleased to announce that 74 of the firm’s attorneys were recognized in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in America®. In addition, 19 attorneys were recognized in the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America and three attorneys were named “Lawyer of the Year.”
Best Lawyers recognitions are compiled based on an exhaustive Purely Peer Review® evaluation. More than 184,000 industry-leading lawyers are eligible to vote (from around the world). Best Lawyers received more than 25.8 million evaluations on the legal abilities of other lawyers based on their specific practice areas around the world. Attorneys in the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch ® category are extraordinary lawyers who have been in private practice for less than 10 years in the United States.
Megan E. Smith was selected as “Lawyer of the Year” for her work in Collaborative Law: Family Law. Sandra A. Brooks was also selected as “Lawyer of the Year” for her work in Family Law Arbitration. Ronald E. Karam received the “Lawyer of the Year” award for his work in Information Technology Law. “Lawyer of the Year” honors are awarded annually to only one lawyer per practice area in each region with extremely high overall feedback from their peers, making it an exceptional distinction.
