Offit Kurman Grows New York Office with the Addition of Two Litigators
New York, NY – August 23rd, 2021 – Offit Kurman is pleased to welcome two attorneys to the firm’s New York region. Lucas Markowitz and Eric Lanter have joined the firm in its Manhattan office.
“We opened our New York office in April of 2018, and in just a few short years it has grown to over five times its original size. The additions of Lucas and Eric further solidify our presence in this critical market, and we are excited to welcome them to the firm,” said Offit Kurman President Timothy C. Lynch.
Lucas Markowitz, a principal in Offit Kurman’s Labor and Employment group, works closely with both individuals and businesses to help them navigate complex legal challenges. He counsels clients on a broad range of employment issues including single plaintiff discrimination claims, trade secret matters, restrictive covenant cases, class and collective actions and more. He is also a first chair trial lawyer whose litigation practice covers a wide range of disputes, including real estate litigation, civil RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization) cases, consumer fraud actions, securities matters and partnership issues.
Associate Eric Lanter, who has joined the firm’s Commercial Litigation group, focuses his practice on resolving a variety of commercial disputes for his clients. He appears in both federal and state courts and before arbitration panels and provides counsel on issues ranging from contract disputes and regulatory compliance to investigation oversight.
