Offit Kurman Attorney Named to Washington DC 2021 Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars List
WASHINGTON, DC – April 27, 2021
Offit Kurman is pleased to announce that Michelle Evans has been included in the Washington DC 2021 Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars list. Ms. Evans was recognized for her Estates and Probate work; this is her third consecutive year being selected for the D.C. region.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The patented annual selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. The selection process for Rising Stars is similar to that of Super Lawyers with one exception: to be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. No more than 2.5% of lawyers in each state are named to the Rising Stars list.
At Offit Kurman, Ms. Evans is part of the Estates and Trusts group and focuses her practice on estate planning and estate administration in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. She assists her clients with creating estate plans to meet their financial and personal objectives, which typically includes the preparation of wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, durable general powers of attorney, and advance medical directives.
