Offit Kurman Attorney Augie Curtis Recognized with 2025 TMA Turnaround/Transaction of the Year Award
Offit Kurman is proud to announce that attorney Augie Curtis has been recognized as part of the team honored with the 2025 Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Turnaround/Transaction of the Year Award in the Small Company Turnaround/Transaction category for his work with Curitec, LLC, a national wound care provider.
Curitec's Chapter 11 plan of reorganization, which was confirmed after extensive negotiations, resulted in a comprehensive settlement with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, paid off creditors in full, and ensured that Curitec’s owners retained control, that thousands of employees kept their jobs, and that patients continued to receive essential medical care.
Presented annually since 1993, the TMA Awards celebrate excellence, ingenuity, and collaboration in the corporate renewal and restructuring profession. Winners are selected through a rigorous peer-review process conducted by the TMA Awards Committee, which evaluates each case based on measurable outcomes and impact on stakeholders.
The 2025 honorees were recognized at the TMA Annual Conference, which took place October 13–17 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
