Morris O. Little Jr.

Principal

For more than two decades, Morris O. Little Jr. has helped companies navigate complex business and operational challenges with a practical, results driven approach grounded in deep industry experience. He advises clients across a range of industries on transactional, regulatory, and day-to-day corporate matters, with particular insight into highly regulated and asset intensive businesses.

Morris’s practice focuses on supporting clients as they work to achieve their broader business objectives, whether through strategic transactions, operational planning, or ongoing legal counsel. He advises on corporate governance, entity formation, joint ventures, procurement, and business process outsourcing arrangements. His practice also includes commercial lending, government and commercial contracting, healthcare, hospitality, and alcohol licensing matters.

A significant portion of Morris’s career has been shaped by his extensive work in the aviation industry. His early legal practice focused on aviation-related transactions, including the purchase, sale, and leasing of aircraft and engines, as well as agreements involving technical support, parts, and licensing. This foundation has enabled him to counsel clients on sophisticated transactions that involve operational, regulatory, and commercial considerations.

Before entering private practice, Morris spent 26 years in the airline industry, including 14 years practicing law in the legal department of a major international airline. In that role, he worked closely with technical operations and fleet planning teams. He played an integral role in expanding the company’s technical sales business, driving significant revenue growth. Before his legal career, he spent more than a decade working on and supervising the maintenance of commercial aircraft, giving him a rare, firsthand understanding of the operational realities facing aviation and transportation clients.

Morris’s combination of legal training and operational experience allows him to deliver counsel that is both legally sound and commercially informed. Clients value his ability to anticipate issues, align legal strategies with business goals, and communicate effectively with both legal and nonlegal stakeholders.

Beyond his legal practice, Morris is actively engaged in the Atlanta community. He is a longtime member of 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Inc., where he has served on the board of directors and executive committee, and he currently chairs the Southwest District Friends of Scouting campaign for the Atlanta Area Council of Scouting America.
