Lisa Fenech’s practice focuses on estates and trusts litigation, probate and estate administration, and elder law litigation. This includes contested and uncontested probate and administration proceedings, contested and uncontested Article 81 proceedings, power of attorney litigation, contested estates and trusts accounting proceedings, and various other complex disputes between beneficiaries and fiduciaries.
Lisa takes a pragmatic approach to her practice, recognizing the emotional complexities involved and the need for solutions that are both legally sound and practical. Clients value her efficiency and strategic focus in resolving cases. With a strong track record of achieving favorable outcomes both in and out of court, Lisa is committed to guiding her clients through the process with clarity and confidence.
Lisa regularly receives appointments from the New York State Supreme Court to serve as court evaluator and court-appointed counsel in Article 81 proceedings. She is also frequently appointed by the Surrogate’s Courts to serve as Guardian Ad Litem in probate, accounting, wrongful death, and various other proceedings. These appointments allow her to advocate for vulnerable individuals who are unable protect their own rights.
Lisa resides on Long Island and is the proud aunt of two nieces. She enjoys spending time with her family, frequently traveling to Florida to visit them.
