Mi "Jemi" Cho

Mi (“Jemi”) Cho is a principal in Offit Kurman’s Family Law Practice Group. Jemi assists clients in all aspects of divorce including child custody, child support, complex marital property divisions and spousal support. In addition, she handles traffic, criminal, domestic violence and protective order matters. Jemi is also certified mediator and has successfully reached her clients goals through mediation.

She understands that each client has a unique set of challenges, issues and needs. Jemi understands that litigation is costly, timely and is emotionally challenging. As such, her primary goal is to achieve a swift and beneficial resolution for her clients. She has also successfully litigated high conflict cases that did not result in an amicable resolution and zealously advocates on behalf of her clients. Jemi assists her clients with compassion and empathy. Her experiences fuel her passion to assist clients during one of the most difficult times.

In law school, as a certified student attorney, Jemi developed and implemented case strategies for child support, probate, guardianship, and social security disability cases. She drafted motions individually and jointly, including motions for contempt, appeals of dismissals, probate petitions and affidavits. Additionally, as a Rule 16 attorney, Jemi handled criminal and traffic cases, including a jury trial.
