Portrait of Elizabeth Americo

Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Americo

Attorney

Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Americo advises clients in the construction industry on a range of legal matters, including contract issues, disputes, and risk management. Her practice includes representing architects, engineers, design-build entities, owners, and other businesses involved in construction contracting. She brings a detail-oriented approach, grounded in her experience handling complex, high-stakes cases in both trial and arbitration settings.

Before joining the firm, Lizzie represented clients in catastrophic injury cases across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She developed litigation strategies, argued substantive motions, and handled depositions and arbitration hearings. This work sharpened her courtroom skills and her ability to navigate challenging fact patterns under tight deadlines.

Lizzie also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Robert Lougy, A.J.S.C., in Mercer County, New Jersey. In that role, she worked on matters involving suits against the State of New Jersey, Open Public Records Act requests, bid protests, and zoning and development issues. Her early legal experience includes work at the Federal Trade Commission, where she contributed to policy analysis and strategy on emerging data privacy and consumer protection issues, and representation of nonprofit organizations on digital privacy matters as a student attorney.

Her diverse background gives her a unique perspective on legal challenges facing businesses. Whether developing a case strategy or advising on compliance concerns, Lizzie focuses on efficiency and clarity.
