G. Edward Hinshaw, Jr.

Eddie Hinshaw is a principal attorney in the firm’s Business Law and Transactions Practice Group, where he focuses his practice primarily in the areas of business, corporate and tax law. Eddie is also a certified public accountant and former Internal Revenue Service agent.

Eddie’s vast experience includes counseling both publicly traded and closely held businesses in a variety of matters, including formation and governance, contracts, commercial transactions and complex mergers and acquisitions. His broad-based financial background of more than 35 years of practicing law and as a CPA allows him to bring unique added value to serving as general counsel to numerous privately held businesses. He also holds the highest (AV) rating from his peers, as reported by Martindale-Hubbell.

His representative experience includes representing one of the Southeast’s largest independent automotive dealership groups in its expansion throughout the Southeast and one of the nation’s largest independent ATM operators.
