Ahmad Ahmadzai has dedicated his law practice to all aspects of real estate. He provides strategic guidance, advocacy, and negotiation, prioritizing a collaborative approach with his clients.

Ahmad has been engaged as counsel, either leading or supporting in various real estate matters including representing purchasers and borrowers in commercial loan transactions related to acquiring, constructing, refinancing, and selling hotels, multifamily housing complexes, and other commercial properties. He also advises institutional and governmental lenders on securing and collateralizing real estate, modifying loans, and drafting loan documents.

In addition, Ahmad handles commercial leasing, subleasing, and licensing for both landlords and tenants. He assists clients with drafting essential loan documents, reviewing due diligence materials such as title commitments, ALTA land surveys, and zoning confirmations, and assisting with post-closing real estate issues.

Before joining Offit Kurman, Ahmad represented lenders as lead counsel in connection with modifications, refinancing and new construction loan transactions pertaining to multifamily housing and healthcare facilities and assisted senior counsel in representing lenders and developers for New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) transactions. Ahmad has been responsible for successfully closing various commercial real estate transactions, which are collectively valued at hundreds of millions of dollars.
