Susanna I. Boensch

Susie Boensch is a dedicated attorney in Offit Kurman’s Family Law Practice Group based in the firm’s Bethesda, Maryland office. Susie focuses her practice on client advocacy, representing individuals in complex family law matters including divorce, child custody, spousal support, property division, and prenuptial/postnuptial agreements. She is committed to empowering her clients to navigate challenging family law proceedings with confidence and clarity.

Susie’s passion for family law stems from her desire to help individuals and families find resolution during some of their most difficult times. She approaches each case with compassion, practicality, and strategic insight—striving to achieve outcomes that support her clients’ and their family’s long-term well-being. Susie’s interest in family law is deeply personal. As a member of a family that was created, in part, through adoption, Susie is committed to guiding each client through the family law process with compassion and empathy.

Before entering private practice, Susie served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joan E. Ryon at the Montgomery County Circuit Court. Susie earned her Juris Doctor, with honors, from The George Washington University Law School and her Bachelor’s Degree, summa cum laude and with Special Honors, from The George Washington University.

She is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. In recognition of her accomplishments and professional excellence, Susie was named a Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2024, 2025 and 2026.

Outside of her legal practice, Susie enjoys reading, exploring small towns and cafes, playing board games, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
