Voytek Jackowski to Present on Design and Construction Contracts at the NYC Bar Association CLE Program

Offit Kurman Commercial Litigation Practice Group Leader Wojciech “Voytek” Jackowski will present at the New York City Bar CLE Program, Construction Contracts 101: Demystifying Design & Construction Contracts for the Successful Project on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

In this webcast program, back by popular demand, Mr. Jackowski will join a panel of experienced construction and development attorneys to guide participants through an in-depth analysis of the major contracting documents that comprise every construction project, including Owner/Architect agreements, Owner/Contractor agreements and Contractor/Subcontractor agreements. Mr. Jackowski will co-present with the panelists on the following topics:

  • Using the American Institute of Architects Family of Documents: Which Form to Use, When to Use Them & Why it Matters;
  • Drafting Considerations for Owner-Architect Agreements; and
  • Impact of COVID-19, Force Majeure Clauses, Material Shortages, and Disruptions in the Real Estate Development on Construction Project Management.
  • Mr. Jackowski frequently lectures and publishes articles on construction law and litigation topics. He is active in numerous bar and industry associations and is a member of the Construction Law Committee at the New York City Bar Association, the sponsoring committee for this event led by the Committee Chair Sarah Sparer.
