Summer Abel Earns National Recognition as a 2026 Best LGBTQ+ Lawyer Under 40

Summer Abel, attorney in the firm’s Family Law practice, has been named one of the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association’s 2026 Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40, an honor recognizing emerging legal leaders from across the country.

Each year, the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association recognizes 40 LGBTQ+ legal professionals under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their field and demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing LGBTQ+ equality. Honorees are selected based on professional achievement, leadership, and service to the LGBTQ+ community.

“I am honored to be recognized by the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association alongside so many dedicated attorneys,” Summer said. “This acknowledgment reflects the importance of continued advocacy and meaningful work in support of the LGBTQ+ community.”

Summer will be recognized at the 2026 Lavender Law® Conference and Career Fair, to be held in Chicago, Illinois. The annual conference brings together legal professionals, students, and advocates from across the country and is the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ legal conference.
