Russell Berger to Speak at Cannabis in the Workplace Program

Offit Kurman Principal and Department Chair Russell Berger will be speaking at the program titled “Cannabis and the Workplace: How to Avoid Complications” on June 7. The program will discuss the implications in the workplace of the recently enacted law, effective July 1, 2023, allowing individuals aged 21 and older to legally utilize, possess and consume a “personal use” quantity of cannabis.

The program is organized by the Maryland Department of Commerce, with support from the Eastern Shore Higher Education Center, and Queen Anne’s, Kent, Caroline and Talbot County Economic Development Departments.
