Offit Kurman’s Howard Kurman Quoted in Law360 on Possible Effects of the Upcoming Election

Howard Kurman, labor and employment principal at Offit Kurman, was recently quoted in the Law360 article, “Harris' Surge Renews Labor Advocates' White House Hopes.” The article focuses on the possible effects on current and future labor policy if the Harris/Walz administration were to win the November election. The election is the main influence for changes to federal labor policy because the president will choose who leads the National Labor Relations Board.

Howard stated, “It did not look good for a renewal of the Biden presidency, and most people figured that if Trump were elected … that many of the interpretations of the [National Labor Relations] Act, which were published and sought by the Democratic board, might go bye-bye."
