Offit Kurman Welcomes Principal Raymond D. Agran to Philadelphia Business Law Practice
Philadelphia, PA – (May 21, 2024) – Offit Kurman is pleased to welcome Principal Raymond D. Agran to the firm’s Business Law and Transactions practice, resident in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office.
Agran brings decades of experience, guiding clients in a wide variety of complex legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and capital raising, licensing and distribution and other commercial contracts, employment and equity arrangements for C-suite executives. He serves a diverse clientele, including entrepreneurs, investors, family businesses and venture capital firms. Agran focuses on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, securities law compliance and entity formation. He also handles employment agreements, software licensing and joint ventures in sectors like real estate, industrial processes, life sciences and software. His experience also extends to industrial production, defense contracting, mining and real estate development. He has an additional specialty in cross-border transactions, representing non-U.S. entities in the U.S. and facilitating transactions for U.S. companies globally, with significant experience in M&A and securities work across various countries.
Additionally, Agran provides counsel and negotiates general commercial matters such as loan agreements and distribution arrangements. His clients have commended his work in the prestigious publication, Chambers Guide to Leading U.S. Lawyers.
Agran earned his J.D., with honors, as a Chancellor Kent Scholar (“highest honors”) for one year and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar for two years ("very high honors"). from Columbia University School of Law and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Yale University.
