Offit Kurman Welcomes Intellectual Property Principal Tod Kupstas
PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA – (Sep. 28, 2023) – Offit Kurman is pleased to welcome Tod Kupstas to the firm’s Intellectual Property practice, resident in the Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania office.
Kupstas focuses on all stages of patent and patent prosecution, domestic and international patent portfolio management, trademark prosecution, litigation support, and licensing. His clients include a broad range of technologies, such as sensors, AR/VR, human-computer interfaces, automotive, medical devices, data storage, pharmaceuticals, industrial equipment, the energy industry, and various consumer products. He began as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, worked in private practice and served as in-house counsel for a multinational corporation and a sensing technology startup. He has extensive experience helping clients leverage their intellectual property assets, including involvement in cases reaching the Federal Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court.
Kupstas earned his B.A. in Physics from University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from George Washington University Law School.
