Offit Kurman Welcomes Commercial Litigation Counsel Kenneth Flickinger
HACKENSACK, NJ – (October 10, 2023) – Offit Kurman is pleased to welcome Counsel Kenneth Flickinger to the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice resident in the Hackensack, New Jersey office.
Kenneth has represented a wide range of clients, including institutions and individuals, in intricate commercial litigation cases, covering pre-litigation, trial, appeals and collection. Kenneth’s experience extends to advocating for the mortgage lending and servicing sectors, encompassing tasks such as pursuing complex foreclosures and defending against consumer claims involving fraud, unfair practices, credit discrimination and alleged statutory violations. His knowledge encompasses laws like the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the Truth-in-Lending Act (TILA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and the Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act (HOEPA).
In addition, Kenneth advises clients on matters at the intersection of litigation and compliance, addressing issues such as complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and state Attorney General’s Offices. He also serves real estate investors by handling litigation related to contract disputes, real estate fraud, eminent domain and various property-related matters, including landlord/tenant disputes and evictions.
Kenneth received his B.A. from State University of New York at Albany and his J.D. from St. John’s School of Law.
