Offit Kurman Launches Environmental and Sustainability Practice Group Helmed by Principal Matthew Karmel
BETHESDA, MD. – September 26, 2022 – Offit Kurman is pleased to announce the arrival of Principal Attorney Matthew Karmel as the Chair of its newly launched Environmental and Sustainability Practice Group. Mr. Karmel joins the firm in its East Hanover, New Jersey office, and is also a member of the Real Estate Law and Transactions group.
Mr. Karmel has been recognized for his influence and leadership in relation to the environment and the circular economy. His practice encompasses the full range of environmental matters, including traditional environmental counseling and litigation, brownfields redevelopment and site remediation, as well as sustainability, renewable energy and waste management. From Fortune 100 companies to individual homeowners, Mr. Karmel provides clients with practical and pragmatic environmental counsel.
