Offit Kurman Elevates Associate Roster with Arrival of Attorney
Bethesda, MD – (August 16, 2023) – Offit Kurman is pleased to announce the addition of Jason Powell to the firm’s Associates rankings.
Jason Powell joins the firm’s Construction Law practice group resident in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. He represents owners, contractors, and subcontractors in construction matters and litigation across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Powell handles disputes involving contracts, bidding, payments, defects, delays, insurance, mechanics’ liens and joint ventures. He’s appeared before Courts of Common Pleas, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. He’s skilled in trials, mediation, arbitration, discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiation and appeals. Powell assists clients in business planning, contract negotiation, project consulting, risk management and dispute resolution.
Powell received his B.A. from the University of Arizona and his J.D. from Rutgers Law School. He also holds his LL.M in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law.
