Offit Kurman Attorney Summer Abel Named VP and President-Elect of LGBTQ Bar

Offit Kurman congratulates attorney Summer Abel on her election to vice president and president-elect of the LGBTQ Bar Association of Maryland for the 2024-2025 term. Summer practices family law in the firm’s Bethesda, Maryland office.

"I am deeply honored to serve and represent our vibrant and diverse community. Our mission is to advance equality, foster a supportive network, and advocate for the legal rights of LGBTQ individuals across Maryland,” said Summer. “Together, we will continue to build a more inclusive and just legal profession, where everyone can thrive and be their authentic selves.”

The LGBTQ Bar Association of Maryland is a local affiliate of the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association and provides a place for the queer community to connect and amplify their voices. “I look forward to working with our members and allies to achieve these goals and make a positive impact in our state,” said Summer.

    Artful Donations: Exploring Museum Exchange
