Am Law 200 law firm Offit Kurman is pleased to announce the addition of Michael H. Cohen as Affiliated Counsel in the firm's Business Law and Transactions and Healthcare practice groups.  Michael is a member of the California Bar and his addition further strengthens Offit Kurman's healthcare-focused capabilities and expands the firm's reach in California's dynamic healthcare and life sciences markets.

For more than four decades, Michael H. Cohen has advised healthcare providers, entrepreneurs, and organizations on navigating complex regulatory frameworks, structuring compliant business models, and managing legal risk in an evolving healthcare environment. His practice encompasses healthcare transactions, regulatory compliance, healthcare technology, data privacy and security, telemedicine, FDA and FTC matters, and emerging healthcare delivery models.

In addition to his legal practice, Michael has held faculty appointments at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where he developed policies and procedures related to integrative medicine and led interdisciplinary research initiatives. He has authored multiple books and more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and legal publications and has lectured extensively throughout the United States and internationally.
