Offit Kurman Adds Four Lawyers from Schnader Harrison

PHILADELPHIA, PA – (Sept. 8, 2023) – Offit Kurman welcomes the additions of Brad Jacobs, Ronald Karam, W. Drew Kastner and Stephenie Yeung as principals from Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP. Effective Sept. 1, Karam, Kastner and Yeung join the firm’s Philadelphia office, while Jacobs joins in New York City.

Brad Jacobs is focused on real estate law, handling the full spectrum of transactions involved in the purchase and sale of residential and commercial properties, as well as leasing, lending and other secured financing transactions, and 1031 exchange transactions.

Ronald Karam focuses on Intellectual property, licensing and information technology transactional matters, as well as litigation of patent and copyright infringement actions and other commercial disputes.

W. Drew Kastner is an experienced intellectual property attorney who handles all aspects of trademark and copyright prosecution, enforcement and licensing, including developing, negotiating, and implementing new licensing agreements, transactions and branding strategies for both licensors and licensees. He is also well-versed in entertainment, music and sports law.

Stephenie Yeung counsels clients on issues of data privacy and protection, including compliance with US state and international data protection laws. Additionally, her practice is focused on protecting clients’ intellectual property through securing trademark and copyright registrations from the USPTO and Copyright Office, licensing assets, and enforcing IP rights.
