Accomplished Attorney Lee Carpenter Joins Offit Kurman’s Estates and Trusts Practice
Baltimore, MD – (July 21, 2023) – Offit Kurman is pleased to announce that Lee Carpenter has joined the firm’s Estates and Trusts practice in its Baltimore, Maryland office.
Mr. Carpenter is a Principal attorney with extensive experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration and business law. He strives to create a welcoming environment where clients of all backgrounds can feel comfortable discussing their legal needs.
Mr. Carpenter prepares comprehensive estate plans using various legal tools and can manage probate and trust administration. He also specializes in advising same-sex couples and the LGBTQ community, advocating for their rights and serving as a pro bono attorney.
Additionally, he teaches at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law and frequently writes and speaks about estate planning and LGBTQ law.
Mr. Carpenter earned his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Maryland University College and his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Fellow and Editor in Chief of the Journal of Business & Technology Law.
