Nishma "Nish" Patel advises businesses and individuals through complex disputes with a practical, solutions-focused approach. She represents clients in state and federal courts across a broad range of commercial litigation matters, guiding them from early case evaluation through resolution.
Nish’s practice spans real estate, construction, labor and employment, and complex business disputes. She regularly handles landlord-tenant matters, residential and commercial foreclosures, and real estate receiverships. Her experience also includes disputes related to easements, encroachments, adverse possession, and partition actions. In addition, Nish represents clients in construction and employment-related litigation, helping them manage risk while pursuing efficient outcomes aligned with their business goals.
Clients value Nish’s ability to navigate high-stakes disputes with clarity and precision. She develops litigation strategies that focus on achieving results through negotiation, mediation, or trial, depending on what best serves the client’s objectives. Before entering private practice, Nish served as a felony prosecutor where she tried hundreds of cases to verdict. This courtroom experience continues to inform her approach to litigation, providing insight into case strategy, evidentiary issues, and trial advocacy. She brings that perspective to every matter, whether resolving disputes early or preparing for trial.
Nish is active in the legal and local community through pro bono and volunteer efforts. She contributes her time to initiatives that expand access to legal services and supports programs focused on disaster relief and election protection.
