John D. Stant II represents employers and public entities in labor and employment matters, combining litigation experience with practical, business-focused counseling. He advises on workplace issues, including discrimination claims, compliance, and internal investigations.
John brings a strong litigation background to his practice, having managed high-volume caseloads and handled a variety of disputes earlier in his career. His experience also includes judicial clerkships, where he drafted opinions and worked closely with judges on complex legal issues, insight he now uses to develop effective litigation strategies for his clients.
Before joining Offit Kurman, John was an Assistant City Solicitor in Wilmington, DE, where he drafted position statements in response to Department of Labor and EEOC charges and defended employment-related claims in federal court. He also counseled on contracts, governance, and personnel matters, giving him a well-rounded view of employment issues within complex organizations.
John is also active in the Delaware legal community, including leadership roles within the Delaware State Bar Association’s labor and employment sections.
