John V. Salierno represents businesses, property owners, and individuals in complex civil disputes across New Jersey and New York. A seasoned trial lawyer and appellate advocate, John counsels clients through high-stake litigation with a practical, results-oriented approach, whether in state or federal court.

John’s practice encompasses a broad range of commercial and general litigation matters, including contract disputes, consumer fraud claims, and real estate-related litigation. He appears before the Superior Court of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and handled appeals before the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. His litigation experience spans all phases of a case, from early motion practice and discovery through trial and appeal.

Another part of John’s practice involves representing residential and commercial landlords and tenants in eviction, ejectment, and unlawful detainer actions. He has successfully handled hundreds of matters in this area, advising clients on strategy, compliance, and risk management while pursuing efficient and cost-effective resolutions.

Before entering private practice, John served as a judicial law clerk to a judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, where he gained valuable insight into judicial decision-making and courtroom procedure. In recognition of his trial experience and skill, he was designated a Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey, a distinction held by a select group of attorneys in the state.
