Portrait of Jessica Denkevitz

Jessica Denkevitz

Attorney

Jessica Denkevitz advises residential and commercial property owners and management companies on the legal challenges that come with maintaining and protecting real estate investments. She helps landlords navigate day-to-day operational issues, comply with local and federal housing regulations, and resolve high-volume rent-collection matters. Her practical, business-focused approach ensures properties remain compliant and profitable.

Jessica also drafts and reviews leases, addenda, rental applications, and management agreements to minimize risk and maintain strong tenant relationships. Her work supports clients managing diverse portfolios of residential and commercial assets.

In addition to her landlord representation practice, Jessica helps companies navigate complex electronic discovery challenges and data-intensive civil litigation, guiding clients through every phase of the discovery process with a practical, business-focused approach. She works closely with in-house teams and external partners to translate technical data issues into clear legal strategies that support efficient, defensible outcomes in high-stakes matters.

Jessica advises clients throughout the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), from early assessment and preservation planning through review, production, and motion practice. Her work includes identifying preservation obligations, evaluating data systems, implementing legal holds, conducting custodian interviews, and overseeing collections. She manages document review projects, negotiates proportional search terms, supervises productions and quality control, and uses technology-assisted review (TAR) and AI tools to streamline workflows. She also supports clients in matters involving Civil Investigative Demands, FTC Second Requests, False Claims Act investigations, and trade secret disputes, and collaborates with litigation teams on discovery-related motion practice to ensure strategy aligns with the needs of the case.

Experience in both private practice and in-house settings has helped inform Jessica’s perspective. Before returning to a law firm setting, she spent several years working for a large, multi-tiered financial institution, where she drafted and negotiated technology contracts and gained first-hand insight into how large organizations manage information, risk, and internal stakeholders. That background enables her to anticipate institutional needs, communicate effectively with technical and business teams, and craft plans that align with corporate governance and regulatory expectations.

Outside of the office, Jessica enjoys composing and performing music.
