James Figliozzi is a dedicated commercial litigation attorney who provides strategic counsel and effective representation to businesses across a range of industries. In 2022, James served as second chair in a trial that secured a $5.3 million unanimous jury verdict for a former Clemson University student falsely accused of rape in a defamation and civil conspiracy case, one of the largest verdicts in Upstate South Carolina involving a private individual. He also successfully prepared a writ to the South Carolina Supreme Court, resulting in a landmark decision that ended the improper delegation of discovery oversight to special referees in civil cases.

After law school, James served as a law clerk for William P. Greene, Jr., Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims in Washington, D.C.
