Andrew Robinson is a principal in the Real Estate Law and Transactions Practice Group with a focus on matters relating to commercial leasing, complex real estate transactions and financing, business acquisitions/sales, general corporate matters, land use, administrative law, land development. He has assisted clients in processing subdivision and condominium development as well as in planning and zoning matters throughout the state. As a member of the firm’s Cannabis Law Practice Group, Andrew provides legal guidance and support on issues relating to complex real property issues arising from cannabis laws, rules, and regulations throughout the region and their impact on leasing, acquisition, and compliance matters. He has also worked with many operators in the cannabis industry relating to specific state medical cannabis programs.
Andrew is also a U.S. Green Building Council, LEED Accredited Professional (LEED® AP) and is listed on the Green Building Certification Institute’s LEED® AP Directory under the legal area of practice. As a LEED accredited professional, Andrew has demonstrated a thorough understanding of the certification process for the LEED Green Building Rating System and can assist clients in developing, building and leasing green buildings.
Andrew has been published in the University of Maryland School of Law’s 2005 Maryland legal history publication., “The Voting Rights Cases of 1937: The Adoption of Voting Machine Technology in Baltimore City.”
