Meet the Founders of
Crooked Crab Brewing Company

Crooked Crab Brewing Company is Odenton, Maryland's first hometown microbrewery, and one of the first of its kind in Anne Arundel County. The company got its start when founders Earl Holman, Alex Josephs, and Daniel Messeca—seasoned home brewers and members of Maryland's craft beer scene—visited a brewery in Rockville. Inspired to start their own craft business, the three built Crooked Crab on a set of simple, unambiguous principles: "brew the beer we like to drink, with no corners cut and no ingredients skimped on." The brewery currently offers five year-round brews, ranging from crisp ales to robust stouts, as well as a selection of seasonal beers, all available for tasting at the Crooked Crab tap room at 8251 Telegraph Road in Odenton.
