Companies spend years earning it, customer’s swear by it, and the dismantling of it can happen in a flash — reputation. Reputation is everything. All too often businesses find their reputation under attack and are forced to play defense.

Join us for our complimentary panel discussion and hear from professionals who know firsthand the reputation battles businesses fight. We will discuss how to stop the bleeding, how to pivot from defense to offense, and how to avoid fighting the battle in the first place.

Friday, May 18th

Networking: 7:30 - 8:00 am

Featuring Special Guest: Denise Whiting, the Founder of Baltimore’s iconic Café Hon. Denise found herself embroiled in a neighborhood turned national controversy after doing what her attorney recommended to protect her business – trademark the term “Hon!” What transpired after the seemingly innocent legal filing was anything but routine. The community backlash was unanticipated and severe. From death threats to bad press, Denise had to muster the strength to protect what she had worked so hard for – her business and her sanity. Denise will share her incredible experience with attendees and talk about her lessons learned in this riveting account of what can happen to any business in today’s fast-paced world.
