Offit Kurman Welcomes Bankruptcy Attorney Jeffrey Carbino to its Wilmington Office

Offit Kurman is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Carbino has joined the firm as Principal in the Creditors’ Rights, Reorganization and Bankruptcy practice. Mr. Carbino is located in the firm’s Wilmington, Delaware office.

Jeff Carbino focuses his practice on bankruptcy, corporate reorganization and commercial litigation. He represents debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, chapter 7 trustees, landlords, buyers of assets throughout the United States and has significant experience prosecuting and defending parties in bankruptcy litigation proceedings. His representations have included the prosecution or defense of parties in fraudulent transfer, preference, D&O and breach of fiduciary duty litigation. Mr. Carbino also represents agent banks and commercial lenders in complex multi-lender and syndicated loans, as well as in the purchase and sale of commercial loan assets and the negotiation of inter-creditor and subordination agreements.  He also has prepared legal opinions, including substantive consolidation opinions.

Mr. Carbino served as Judicial Law Clerk at the pleasure of the Honorable John C. Cook, USBJ for the Eastern District of Tennessee and the Honorable Stephen Raslavich, USBJ for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

He received his B.S. from State University of New York at Oneonta and his J.D., cum laude, from Delaware Law School at Widener University.
