Offit Kurman Grows Charlotte Office with Addition of Two Attorneys
Offit Kurman is pleased to announce that Andrea Godwin and Paige Vankooten have joined the firm’s Charlotte office.
Ms. Godwin is a North Carolina native who has practiced in the district and superior courts of Union, Gaston, Mecklenburg and Lincoln County, where she recently earned the largest jury award for a plaintiff in an alienation of affections case.
Ms. Godwin received her B.A. from Campbell University and her J.D. from Campbell University School of Law.
Prior to joining Offit Kurman, Ms. Vankooten worked for the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts as a Judicial Fellow, where she served as a law clerk for the 370 trial court judges across North Carolina Additionally, she clerked at the North Carolina Business Court during law school for both Judge Gale in Greensboro and Judge Bledsoe in Charlotte and served as Law Clerk for the Honorable Justice Barbara Jackson at the North Carolina Supreme Court.
Ms. Vankooten received her B.B.A. from Austin Peay State University and her J.D. from Elon University School of Law.
