Offit Kurman Attorney Michael Mercurio Advises SigInt Technologies on Sale to Novetta Solutions
Maple Lawn, MD – August 26, 2014– Mike Mercurio and Offit Kurman announced today their role as sell side legal counsel to SigInt Technologies and its ownership on the sale to Novetta Solutions, a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Founded in 2005, SigInt Technologies provides digital signal processing (DSP) and intelligence analysis solutions for the Intelligence Community. Headquartered in McLean, VA with more than 500 employees across the US, Novetta provides agile big data solutions and services to government and commercial organizations worldwide. Its advanced identity, cyber and social analytics support the Intelligence Community. SigInt will be integrated into Novetta’s Cyber SIGINT and Discovery Division (CSD) which is based in Columbia, MD and led by Senior Vice President John Skordas. Novetta CEO Peter B. Offit Kurman Attorney Michael Mercurio acted as lead counsel to SigInt Technologies and its ownership for the sale to Novetta. Mr. Mercurio is the chair of the Business Transactions and M&A practice groups for Offit Kurman. This transaction is one more example of Offit Kurman successful sell side representation of government contracting entities in the M&A space.
