OFFIT KURMAN ATTORNEY CHERYL HEPFER RECOGNIZED ON SUPER LAWYERS’ TOP 50-WOMEN AND TOP 100 LISTS
Bethesda, MD | May 27, 2011 Offit Kurman is honored to announce that Family Law attorney, Cheryl Hepfer has once again been recognized by Super Lawyers as one of the Top 50 Women and Top 100 Attorneys in the Maryland and Washington, DC area for 2011. “Hepfer, who joined the firm earlier this year, is one of the most respected attorneys in the area. It is no surprise to us that she was once again given this prestigious honor,” stated Ron Ogens, Chair of Offit Kurman’s Family Law Group. Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is designed to recognize outstanding lawyers in the state who have attained a remarkably high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. With strict criteria to meet, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected for inclusion on this highly regarded list. “I am honored to have once again been included in the Top 50 Women and Top 100 Attorney lists for both Maryland and DC. This honor is especially meaningful to me, as it is my peers who continue to nominate me each year,” explained Hepfer. Hepfer, who is past President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, is currently serving as President-Elect of the International Academy of Matrimonial lawyers. She is the only Maryland Diplomat in the American College of Family Trial Attorneys, which is comprised of the top 100 family law trial attorneys in the United States. In addition to being recognized by Super Lawyers for the fifth consecutive year, Cheryl Hepfer is also one of a few Maryland lawyers named in Woodward White’s The Best Lawyers in America. Hepfer works out of the firm’s Washington, DC area office in Bethesda, Maryland.
