Offit Kurman Appoints Three Principals to Practice Group Leader

Offit Kurman is pleased to announce the appointment of three new practice group leaders: Karin Corbett (Construction Law), Wojciech ‘Voytek’ Jackowski (Commercial Litigation - North), and Julia Taylor (Business Law and Transactions). Ms. Corbett, Mr. Jackowski, and Ms. Taylor will commence their new roles on October 1st, 2020. Practice Group Leaders are tasked with providing legal leadership, management, marketing, and client satisfaction strategies within their respective practice groups.

Karin Corbett, whose practice balances construction litigation, risk management and compliance, and business planning, will assume the leadership of the Construction Group from Brian Loffredo. Mr. Loffredo has also been an integral part of the firm’s growth initiative, and has helped  enhance the Construction Litigation practice group’s presence across the firm’s regions.  In June of 2020, our Construction Group much to Mr. Loffredo’s credit, was named as a Top 50 Construction Law Firm nationally for the second year in a row.



Voytek Jackowski, a litigator focused on commercial and corporate dispute resolution, will assume the leadership of the firm’s Commercial Litigation – North Practice Group from his New York officemate, Ted Semaya. Mr. Semaya has served as the Commercial Litigation - North Practice Group Leader since he joined the firm in February of 2018. In that role, he has done an outstanding job of providing leadership, growth and direction for the litigators in the New York and Philadelphia Regions.

Professional Headshot of attorney Julia TaylorsJulia Taylor, who focuses on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, corporate governance, and general corporate law, will assume the leadership of the Business Law and Transactions Group, from Glenn Solomon. Mr. Solomon has served as the practice group leader for the past three years. During his tenure, Mr. Solomon has been instrumental in growing the group from 11 to 29 attorneys and has guided his team to completion of larger deals and enhanced client service.
