Objective Rally Point Monthly Veteran Networking Breakfast on March 24th

ORP logo You are invited to join us for our monthly Veteran networking breakfast. This networking event is a forum for military Veterans in business and those who support them, or wish to team with them, to meet and connect. We have grown from a small group of Veterans to more than 80 in attendance each month. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to network with other Veterans committed to success in business. For those unfamiliar with ORP I encourage you to read this article and visit our website. Although the focus of the ORP is on the connections made between and with Veterans, we do have a speaker each month. This month we are fortunate to have Andrew Beardall educate us on insurance needs for Veteran owned businesses.  Mr. Beardall is in-house General Counsel to the Capital Group and one of the founding partners of the Government Technology Insurance Company Risk Retention Group.  His outside legal practice includes acting as advisor to individuals and companies including insurance agencies, political campaigns, non- profits, insurance companies, telecommunications companies, and government contractors.  Mr. Beardall will introduce us to the basic insurance needs of Veteran owned businesses along with more advanced issues of risk and insurance requirements beyond those strictly required by law or a government contract.  This is an important topic that most business owners do not understand and when you do not have adequate knowledge of your risks and how to mitigate them through insurance coverage it can have a devastating impact on your company’s future. Don’t pass up a this opportunity to network with other Veterans focused on success in business. If you are a company looking for a VOSB or SDVOSB to team with there is no better place to find qualified Veteran owned businesses than at DC-ORP.
