While these two groups do not regularly get together, you’d never know it by the level of conversation and laughter that ensued. August is a month in which the BWN does not generally have a scheduled luncheon meeting. So, we look for an opportunity to gather our members together in another forum. For the last several years, we have extended an invitation to the WBA for the two groups to get together and network.
Food Plenty, which will celebrate its one year anniversary in December, is a very unique venue recently added to the Howard County fare. It boasts two bars, a private room for events, and inside and outside dining tables. Randy Marriner, the owner, has a very easy involved presence, as he casually joined us for the event.
BWN will kick off its regular schedule of monthly luncheons and speakers on September 19, at the Cured/18th & 21st restaurant in the new Medstar building in Columbia. Check BWN’s website at www.bwn-hoco.org for registration information. The balance of the schedule will be up soon. Hope you can join us!
