Steve Wecker, owner of Iron Bridge on Route 108, has just opened his new dining experience in the One Merriweather building at Broken Land Parkway and Little Patuxent Parkway.
What a unique place! Cured is the more open and casual experience, with high ceilings and a cool bar, while 18th & 21st is the more sophisticated event with shades of aqua and speakeasy, along with a piano player.
Two very different venues, with options for private events as well as open seating. But, speaking of open seating, reservations are highly recommended for the weekends, including bar stools. Darius Rucker and Lady Antebellum provided a sizeable crowd last week when they appeared together at Merriweather. What a great evening to plan: Dinner at Cured or 18th & 21st followed by a concert at one of the best outdoor venues in the country.
Cured features a very interesting and tasty drink selection, custom imagined by the staff. Appetizers are great, and dinner at 18th and 21st has been reviewed as delicious.
We have many dining options in the county, but if you are looking for something different, this is your destination. Parking is simple in the garage, and only a few steps away from the entrance to the restaurant.
Hope you make your reservation and get there soon!
