This morning, it was my pleasure to join in honoring Kevin Kelehan and Tom Carbo at the Heritage Housing Partners Corporation Legacy Awards Breakfast.
This is the first year for these awards, and there could not have been two better, more complimentary winners.
I am proud to say that Kevin and I have been friends for many years. Throughout all of those years, he has consistently been a giver in our community and has worked to ensure equity for all.
Tom Carbo and I were classmates in Leadership Howard County, Class of 2015. We lost Tom in the prime of his life, but his legacy absolutely lives on. Jeannie Carbo shared the sentiment of how she did not realize the impact her husband had outside of their home. I am so pleased that she has had the opportunity to be wrapped in the arms of the celebration of his legacy.
Many members of Carney, Kelehan, and the Leadership Howard County Class of 2015 gathered together this morning to honor these men. In a community of such active people, they stand shoulders above and shine the most brightly.
