On July 19, the Business Women’s Network of Howard County hosted its monthly networking lunch at Turf Valley. I am honored to say that I am Co-President of the organization after serving two one year terms as President. My Co-President is my dear friend, Laura Kittleman of the Kittleman group of Keller Williams Integrity. We look forward to a great year with an enthusiastic board of directors.
Back, by popular demand, was a mini Mastermind session. We broke into groups of 4 to 6, and went around the table to identify issues that each of our business women were experiencing in their daily work life. The collective group at the table, offered suggestions, and accountability nuggets to help meet the challenge. At the conclusion, someone from each table reported a theme from their group. Interestingly enough, a common theme at from all groups, was that of managing time. From time blocking, to removing distractions, the theme permeated every discussion. When one of us determines how to add hours to the day, we will share!
In the meantime, mark your calendars for September 20 when we kick off our new year. We will be meeting at our new location at Eggspectations. Watch the website at www.bwn-hoco.org for the listing of our meetings and speakers. In addition, we have identified charities for which we will be collecting needed items throughout the year. That list will also be posted shortly. Hope to see you in September!
