Biz Tek Today: Conducting Business Across Borders

biztek The article below, “How Small Businesses Can Sell To Foreign Governments”, discussing small businesses doing work with foreign governments got me thinking about the business climate we live in.  It is no longer prudent to limit business geography to one county, one state, even the US.  The fact is that if a business is not looking to overseas markets, it likely is missing out on opportunities.  Many businesses are intimidated by the thought of conducting business across borders believing that such business is overly complicated (not necessarily true).  International business is no longer the sole domain of public companies.  Rather, every closely held company should consider the prospects of business beyond the borders as a topic of serious discussion.
