Telebriefs®: EEOC Announces Proposed Revisions to Annual EEO-1 Reports

payrollOn January 29th, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission announced proposed revisions to EEO1 reports. The change will require employers with over 100 employees to include specific pay data from employers, including federal contractors, with more than 100 employees. By including extra information on the hours worked and wages paid, the EEOC hopes to better spot trends and uncover pay discrimination. These changes are set to take place in September 2017. To learn more about these proposed revisions and what you can do to stay in compliance, listen to this week’s Telebrief here. Also in this week’s Labor & Employment Telebrief:  the continuing issue of employers facing liability for misclassifying individuals as independent contractors rather than employees.
